1. Who we are
These Terms & Conditions are between you and Typing Scripture ("we", "us", "our"). TypingScripture is a web-based typing practice app that helps K–8 learners practice keyboarding with Bible verses. By using our service, you are entering into a contract with Typing Scripture.
2. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using TypingScripture, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. Continued use of the service means you accept any updates to these terms.
3. Description of the service
TypingScripture provides interactive typing lessons using curated King James Version Bible verses. The core practice experience is free. TypingScripture Plus is an optional subscription that unlocks saved progress, streaks, badges, and other premium features.
4. Accounts and eligibility
You may use the free practice features without an account. To subscribe to TypingScripture Plus, you must create an account and be authorized to make purchases. Keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service. This includes, but is not limited to: using the service for unlawful purposes; fraud, spam, or harassment; infringing intellectual property rights; interfering with the security or operation of the service; scraping or reverse engineering; uploading malware or harmful code; or attempting to circumvent any usage limits or technical protections.
6. Intellectual property
Typing Scripture owns all rights, title, and interest in TypingScripture, including its software, design, branding, documentation, and content (excluding public-domain Bible text). We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for personal, non-commercial purposes.
7. Payments, subscriptions, and Paddle
TypingScripture Plus subscriptions are processed by our online reseller, Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides customer service inquiries and handles returns. For details on payments, billing, tax, cancellation, and refunds, please refer to Paddle's Buyer Terms.
8. Service level
We strive to keep TypingScripture available and reliable, but we do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. The service is provided "as is" and "as available".
9. Termination and suspension
We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these terms, fail to pay subscription fees when due, create a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly or seriously violate our acceptable-use policy.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Typing Scripture disclaims all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Typing Scripture's aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages such as lost profits, data loss, or goodwill loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where required by law.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be posted on this page with an updated date.
